Live Shots

The rubber meets the road on the stage. You can be the best band ever in the studio, but what does it matter if you can't deliver it live? My live shot style is marked by use of fast lenses and fast film speeds to capture the band without the use of flash, giving the best possible look at the band or act's look on stage, and capturing the raw energy without the life robbing effects of flash photography. Flash is good for special effects, sure - but the view the audience sees is much more compelling.

An important point to conveying the right look on stage - consider how you want the shots to look, and plan to have me out at a show where the lighting will work to your advantage. Static, uncolored lights lead to boring, flat shots. Dim or nonexistant lights force me to use flash to get usable, sharp pictures. The stage itself is key to how the shots will look. I can work anywhere, but the results will reflect your planning.
