Predating the written word, music has been a universal constant in human society since the dawn of civilization. Varying widely from culture to culture, music is the soundtrack to which we live, shaping our moods and experiences with it's rhythms and overtures.
How, praytell, does one capture the power, the beauty, the raw animal rage, the subtle pensive sigh ... and summarize and sinter the audible into the visual? A special challenge exists for the photographer in those dimly lit, emotionally charged moments.
Being a musician myself, I understand the requirement that your images match your music, and form a cohesive whole, whether it be capturing your live show, creating stunning album artwork for your upcoming release, or translating the essence of your project into the all important promotional shot.
